How Carpools Work

Carpools are when two or more people share a ride in a personal vehicle. It's an informal arrangement between members of the carpool. Who rides, who drives, where to meet, and any reimbursement of costs is up to you and the other people in your carpool.

To be successful, the riders should have similar schedules and live in close proximity to each other and have set pickup locations and times.

When searching for a carpool partner, you can control how far to search, and how flexible your schedule might be. You can also restrict your matching just to your fellow employees, or open it up to anyone registered in the database.

Have our web site search for you. If you don't initially find a carpool candiate, enable our New Match Alert Feature. Our web site will periodically check for new or updated profiles that match to you, and you'll be notified automatically.
